Amanda has her M.S. in speech-language pathology from Loyola University Maryland. She currently works at a special education charter school in Washington, DC. as the Assistive Technology Specialist. At school she assists with determining and implementing communication systems for children aged 3-22 often with complex bodies and complex communication needs. In addition, she sees private clients who use AAC. Previously, Amanda worked as an SLP at the Forbush School in Maryland with teens and young adults with autism & significant behaviors and AAC.
